Our Mission
The Yee Lab aims to improve the health of pregnant people and their families, focusing our efforts on diverse, underserved communities. We strive to approach all of our work with a health equity promotion and social justice framework. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, we study a range of cross-cutting health domains and topics, including:
- Patient navigation
- Diabetes during pregnancy
- Perinatal HIV and other infectious diseases
- Obstetric health services and quality improvement
- Social determinants of obstetric health
- Postpartum health
- Cardiovascular and metabolic health after pregnancy
