Information on visas can be found at the U S Department of State Business Visa Center website and the International Visitors Office website of the U S National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
If you require a visa to enter the US, we strongly encourage you to apply for their visas as early as possible — at least three to four months before the meeting is recommended. Some consulates may have backlogs in scheduling visa interviews. Therefore, applicants should first consult the U.S. Department of State’s visa appointment and processing wait times website.
If you experience significant visa delays, we encourage you to fill out this visa survey. This will allow your request to be brought to the attention of the State Department.
