The objective of this interdisciplinary symposium is to bring together researchers from applied mechanics, materials science, and surface science who investigate adhesion from the atomistic to macroscopic levels. Papers are invited in areas related, but not limited, to experiments and modeling of adhesion across scales, interfacial fracture mechanics, structural adhesion, adhesion in MEMS/NEMS, novel adhesive concepts, and adhesion in nano manufacturing processes such as roll-to-roll transfer and transfer printing.
