National Cybersecurity Awareness Month is here. Do you have all the resources to be safer and more secure online?

Through collaborative efforts between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, the Department and Homeland Security has created a library of information to help you stay safe online, and offline.

This year the overarching message is Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT. Emphasizing personal accountability and will focus on key areas including citizen privacy, consumer devices, and e-commerce security.

In the first series, Own IT, I’m sharing Traveling Tips. Although I’ve shared those before, it’s always good to revisit and put into practice.

Later this week, continuing with the Own IT series, I will share tips for Online Privacy.
