- Description: Nayo Dance Troupe dancers (Nayo is Swahili for “we bring joy”). The troupe was formed in 1978 and led by Annette Frazier ’80. They performed ballet, modern dance, jazz, African dance, and incorporated gospel. They often performed with Black Folks Theatre/African American Theatre Ensemble. L-R: Lauren Jiles, Vernon Prince, Dianne Earley, ??, and Ken Muse.
