This installment of “Breathe” exercises tackles pre-exam jitters. While everyone has different methods of combating academic stress, CAPS identified some universal techniques backed by research that anyone can use.
Last spring, CAPS introduced Breathe, an online program for students to cope with stress. Breathe has something for anyone, and here Yvonne walks you through some of its meditation exercises.
Life comes with a lot of ups and downs, and sometimes, it’s more than one person can handle alone. While regular therapy sessions may not be right for everyone, students can use Breathe, an online program offered through Counseling and Psychological Services, to learn healthy ways of coping with the general stress and anxiety of college life.
Big changes have come to Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) this year. In an effort to offer a more diverse range of resources and encourage students to utilize them, CAPS has implemented a new program, launched an app, and made its counselors more accessible than ever this school year.
