Dearborn Observatory, Room 23
Dearborn Observatory features a historic telescope, but what exactly does that mean? In these free talks open to the public, astronomers from Northwestern’s Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) give an introductory lesson on astronomy before taking questions and giving interactive demonstrations.
Students living on campus throughout the rest of the summer will be able to eat in Hinman Dining Commons. The summer hours remain unchanged, with breakfast served from 7:00- 9:00 AM, lunch from 11:00 AM- 1:30 PM, and dinner from 5:00- 7:00 PM.
