Mental Health Panel

As part of Multicultural Student Affair’s celebration of Black History Month, the department will be hosting a panel of experts to discuss mental health. As one component in the broader spectrum of wellness, learning to care for your own mental health is a valuable skill all students can use. Join One Book, One Northwestern for a discussion of the politics of human biological reproduction, featuring a panel of feminist doctors, scholars, educators, and activists. These five panelists will use their various areas of expertise to connect themes of reproduction in The Handmaid’s Tale to real-life issues such as reproductive justice and infertility. Free HIV Testing
Thursday, February 7 from 11 AM-3 PM, the Black House
Receive a free and confidential test right on campus. Regular testing is an essential form of preventative care, and the CDC recommends that individuals with specific risk factors for HIV get tested once a year. For more information about this event, visit planitpurple.
Afro-fusion Zumba Class

In honor of Black History Month, enjoy this special edition of Northwestern Recreation’s weekly zumba classes. Alice Millar Birthday Concert
