Marina Del Rios, MD, MS
Dr. Del Rios was a member of the Committee on the Treatment of Cardiac Arrest of the Health Division of the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (formerly known as the Institute of Medicine) and is co-author on the 2015 Institute of Medicine Report “Strategies to Improve Cardiac Arrest Survival: A Time To Act”. She is member of the American Heart Association’s Science Subcommittee of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee and Advocacy Ambassador of the Council on Cardiopulmonary, Critical Care, Perioperative and Resuscitation. Her commitment to diversity, inclusion, and health justice led to her recognition by Academy for Diversity and Inclusion in Emergency Medicine of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine as Outstanding Academician of 2017.
