Welcome!
We are Students for Patient Advocacy and Research in the Community (SPARC), and we are excited to invite you to our second annual SPARC conference! This year’s theme is Evolving Systems: Advocacy in the Modern World.
Our one-day conference will center around collaboration among student groups, community organizations, and hospital systems through breakout sessions that are co-hosted by a Feinberg School of Medicine student organization and community organization or provider. Attendees will walk away with concrete skills that are emphasized by the hosts of the breakout sessions.
We hope that SPARC will be a step in inspiring current and future medical professionals to care for and learn about the communities they serve, lifting up those around them in tangible and actionable ways.
