Welcome to NUTC!
Who are we?
We’re the Northwestern University Track Club, the only non-competitive (yet still-competitive) group of runners at Northwestern University! We are co-ed and include athletes in each graduating class. We run through the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA). Learn more about our individual members here.
What do we do?
We run every week day from the Henry Crown Sports Pavillion (SPAC) and also compete in XC and track meets year-round. There are runners of all ability levels – some of us sprint the entire run while others just jog along at the back! We include everyone – from former D1 XC athletes to newcomers to the sport. There’s enough of a range that you should be fine just showing up and finding someone your pace. Want to learn more about what we do and where we compete? Click here!
How can you join?
We encourage any interested members to show up at SPAC at 5:30 on one of our practice days. Most people join in the beginning of the year, but we get new members all the time and you are always welcome! Even if you never come back, just trying it out once won’t kill you. Any specific questions or concerns, as well as inquiries about joining the LISTSERV and Slack, can be directed at our executive board, however.
