About

About NUTC:

Mission

As the primary running club on campus, we strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere, develop a familial community, and promote a passion for running. Through regular, individualized training we aim to improve each runner’s athleticism, and by providing appropriate levels of competition, allow each runner to compete to the best of their ability. We are, and always will be, an open club that does not refuse runners based on athletic ability or available time commitment. We strive to keep our club as financially available as possible, and pride ourselves on being the most affordable club on campus – currently, quarterly dues are $50.

Competition

We compete in Cross Country in the fall, Indoor Track in the winter, and outdoor Track in the spring. We compete in 4 meets per quarter (fall, winter, and spring), roughly weekly. This does not include post-season competitions such as regionals or nationals for XC. Team members are not required to compete in any given meet, but are encouraged to come to as many as possible. We primarily compete against other club teams, as well as D3 teams.
