Q-Taa’leam was created by journalism students at Northwestern University in Qatar as part of its intensive 5-week Advanced Online Storytelling course, with the aim of exploring and examining the educational scene in Qatar.

The name Q-Taa’leam is derived from a combination of two words: Qatar and Taa’leam. The letter Q refers to the State of Qatar while Taa’leam is an Arabic word that translates to education and learning. 

This website offers readers a chance to learn about Qatar’s education landscape and its ongoing reformation in a time when the country is undergoing fast-paced changes. Our team’s reporting gives readers an in-depth look through various multimedia content, including print articles, videos, and animated infographics.
