The Graduate Student Political Theory Workshop is a group organized by and for Northwestern graduate students to share, discuss, and get feedback on in-progress work in the field of political theory. It meets weekly on Friday afternoons to discuss a working paper by a Northwestern graduate student, led by a peer discussant with shared research interests.
The co-chairs of the Political Theory Workshop also invite political theorists from the Chicago area to share their work at the Up the Street Series. These events are joined by the biennial Graduate Student Political Theory Conference, and the faculty-organized Political Theory Colloquium and Global Theory Workshop.
You can contact the current co-chairs, Jinxue Chen and Amanda Fu, at politicaltheory.nu@gmail.com.
The schedule for the 2023–24 workshop is available here.
