About Phawin
As of 2024-2025 academic year, Phawin Prongpaophan is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Theory group at Northwestern University. He is advised by Julia Gaudio.
He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern University in 2023. Before joining Northwestern in Fall 2022, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics (with minor in Mathematics) from University of Washington, Seattle.
Research Interest
Phawin is interested in many theoretical computer science problems with provable guarantees, especially those with simple problem descriptions and beautiful solutions.
