Welcome to the Parvez Lab
We are an interdisciplinary lab in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Our lab’s focus is to identify functional noncoding genomic regions and to understand how these elements regulate animal development. We employ large scale functional genetic screens in zebrafish combined with multimodal downstream phenotyping approaches to answer this important biological question.
