Stefano Gamba
President
Stefano is a junior from New York, New York studying Economics in Weinberg. He is originally from the Bay Area, so he follows the San Francisco 49ers, the Golden State Warriors, and the San Francisco Giants. His favorite sports moment actually came last season when he got to see the 49ers advance to the Super Bowl (before losing so painfully in the Super Bowl) by beating the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game in Santa Clara. He has always been a very analytical person and analyzing sports from a statistical standpoint has always been a passion of his. In his free time, Stefano competitively solves the Rubik’s Cube, watches sports, bets on sports, and passively trades the stock market. You can reach him at stefanogamba2021@u.northwestern.edu.

Brandon Fu
Vice President of Marketing
Hey everyone! I’m Brandon and I am a first-year student studying Economics with a minor in Computer Science. From a young age, I’ve been incredibly passionate about sports — playing tennis, basketball, and swimming all my life. In high school, I began following sports closely and watched every single regular-season game of the Lakers and Warriors. I went through the ups-and-downs of both teams (don’t call me a bandwagoner!). In college, I wanted to continue supporting my teams, and NSAG served as the perfect opportunity to combine both my passion for sports and an academic focus on statistics. As your VP of Marketing, I’m responsible for helping manage our Facebook page, creating posts to promote articles, recruiting new members in the fall, and fundraising for NSAG events. You can reach me at BrandonFu2023@u.northwestern.edu.
Michael Pastuovic
Editor-in-Chief
I am a sophomore from Elmhurst, Illinois studying Economics and Statistics. My favorite sports team is the Chicago Cubs. I played baseball through high school and am especially interested in the analytical side of the game. I irresponsibly spend the majority of my summer income on Cubs season tickets, which I share with my brother. My favorite sports moment, other than the Cubs winning Game Seven of the 2016 World Series, was being in the bleachers for Jason Heyward’s walk-off grand slam against the Phillies in 2018.
