Please review the following changes to NUcore, which may provide new functionality or change the way existing functions work
New features will be released and available for use on Monday, September 16th, 2019
New Features
 
Optional Email to Users when an Order Status Changes
  • When activated for a given Product, changing the status of an order sends an email to the user
  • Works for Service, Item, and Timed Service Product types
  • Sends an email when an order is changed to any Status & Sub-Status of New & In Process, as well as Complete and Canceled
  • Email includes the Facility Name, Product Name, NUcore Order Number, and the updated status of the order
Added Filtering to the Statement History page
  • Managers can filter by the “Created At” date range, the “Sent To” (Owner/BA), the Payment Source, and Status (Unreconciled/Reconciled)
  • Ability to export the filtered results to a .CSV, allowing the creation of an Aged Receivables report for a given account, or the entire facility
  • Please note that we will soon deprecate the existing Accounts Receivable Billing page
Enhancements
Added a Link to the Instrument Name on the Training Request page
  • Link directs to the Reservations page for the selected instrument
  • Allows for quick access to make a reservation for a requestee’s training
Moved the “Transactions in Review” Hyperlink
  • For Owners/BA’s reviewing transactions, the link was previously available on the My Transactions page
  • Moved the link to a separate drop down on the home page, where it now shows Owners/BA’s how many transactions are awaiting review
Instrument Offline Email Enhancement
  • Custom subject and body of an Instrument Offline email are no longer required
  • Default offline language included in the template will be sent to selected users if nothing is entered
Bulk Email Footer Enhancement
  • Removed the default footer: “If you have any questions, please contact XYZ Core”
  • There was often redundant or competing information in the body of the bulk emails
Senior Staff Role Enhancement
  • The Problem Queues for Orders, Reservations, and Occupancies can now be accessed by the “Senior Staff” role
  • Provides a role for staff that do not need access to Admin, Billing, and Price Policy features
ACGT Sample Submission Enhancement
  • Added validation to disallow duplicate Well Position entries when completing the ACGT NUcore order form
  • Validates both manual entry and .CSV upload
Billable Minutes added to Export Raw and Invoices
  • Billable Minutes are used to calculate the price of a reservation in the three charging modes: Reservation, Usage, and Overage
  • Billable Minutes are now visible in a new column in the Export Raw file
  • Instrument orders on Invoices will also display Billable Minutes as the Time/Quantity in the applicable column
Bug Fixes
Room Entry/Exit Times missing from the All Transactions export
  • Added the entry and exit times to the CSV Export in BillingàAll Transactions
Fixed Formatting Issues with Invoices
  • Removed the gaps that appear on additional pages of the invoice
  • Eliminated additional blank pages that sometimes appended an invoice
  • Fixed a formatting problem that occurred when the “Bill To” section was too long
