Dr. Rick Zinbarg
Dr. Zinbarg received his Ph.D. in clinical and personality psychology from Northwestern University with a minor in evaluation and methodology. He has held previous faculty appointments at the University at Albany SUNY, and the University of Oregon. He is the current Chair of the Psychology Department and also holds a research appointment at The Family Institute. His research interests include personality traits that predispose people to the development of anxiety disorders, as well as the structure and measurement of anxiety.

Alexander (Alex) Williams
Alex is a 7th year doctoral student in clinical psychology. He is currently (2023-2024 academic year) on internship at the Seattle Veterans Affairs Hospital. He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at the College of William & Mary in 2017. His primary research interests include the development of anxiety disorders in adolescence, threat learning, and the social influences that modulate these processes. Madison Schmidt
Madison is a 4th year doctoral student in clinical psychology. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Denver in 2018. Following graduation, she worked as a clinical research coordinator for the Depression Grand Challenge at UCLA. Madison is broadly interested in individual differences in the etiology and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders and digital mental health. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her dog named Pluto!
