CBCF Innovation Grants to Foster Belonging and Connection among Student Parents and Their Children

The purpose of these grants is to co-design and co-facilitate innovative activities that foster belonging and connection among student parents with community colleges. We have awarded three community college grants along with technical guidance: Brightpoint Community College, College of Menominee Nation, and Sinclair Community College. In addition to technical guidance on the design of activities and strategies, the CBCF Initiative Research Team will study each college’s near-term implementation process and student parent outcomes. Our first kick-off event was August 5, 2024.
