Mina Elhamiasl, PhD
Dr. Elhamiasl is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Precision Neuromodulation Lab. Her primary research interest is the neural mechanisms underlying human cognition and emotion. She explore how the interaction between neural processes, cognition, and emotion contributes to the development of psychopathology in relations to the mechanisms underlying therapeutic change.

Robots
Azimov One
Azimov One is a collaborative robot responsible for precise brain stimulation (TMS) delivery in our lab. It features stereotactic infrared neuronavigation, real-time active electroencephalography (EEG), synchronization with human cognitive-behavioral tools, and adaptive closed-loop TMS-EEG-psychophysiology capabilities. Azimov One is a blend of state-of-the-art commercially available technologies (by MagVenture®, Axilum Robotics®, Localite®, and Brain Products®) and our lab’s pioneering IP in neural closed-loop systems.
