The NASA Space Apps Challenge is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and innovators, taking place over the course of two days. During the hackathon, teams from cities around the world engage the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and its Space Agency Partners’ free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
The 2023 NASA Space Apps challenge took place on October 7 and 8. CIERA hosted the Chicago chapter at our office spaces in the 1800 Sherman Ave building, on the southwest corner of Northwestern University’s Evanston campus.
