About us
Welcome to MORE! MORE is a student organization that provides opportunities for Northwestern graduate students and postdocs to mentor and empower high school students interested in STEM. This mentorship takes a variety of forms, including one-on-one mentoring for independent research projects, group discussion panels on STEM careers and research, and MORE! We would love to have you on board with us to participate in outreach activities and help inspire the next generation of STEM students!
History
The MORE organization grew out of a partnership with Niles West High School in 2013, where students participated in a STEM-related research project under the mentorship of Northwestern University graduate students. Since then, we have expanded our connections with high schools in the local Chicago area to engage students in STEM research and give students exposure to careers and experiences of Northwestern graduate students and Post-docs.
