Welcome to MIMIC2!
MIMIC2 (Maximizing Implementation of Motivational Incentives in Clinics 2) is an implementation trial funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). MIMIC2 is partnering with community-based programs across Chicago to implement contingency management targeting stimulant and/or opioid use in specialty addiction treatment programs. Contingency management is a highly effective treatment in which patients earn motivational incentives for meeting their abstinence goals.
MIMIC2 is being conducted by a team at Northwestern University. This project is part of the Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science at Stanford (C-DIAS), a NIDA Research Center of Excellence. You can visit the C-DIAS website to learn more about how this project addresses the center’s mission.
