Marc Dos Santos, PhD

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Peter Penzes Lab at Northwestern University in Chicago.

I graduated from the University Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris where I studied addiction and synapse formation and then decided to continue my research on neurodevelopmental disorders at Northwestern University.

Using state-of-the art proteomic tools (Mass Spectrometry) in combination with advanced live microscopy (ex vivo and in vivo), my goal is to decipher molecular pathways responsible for cortical network dysfunctions in psychiatric disorders in order to better design therapeutic strategies.
