Amrita Rajesh
Amrita Rajesh is a research technician in Dr. Lavine’s laboratory. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Psychology from Loyola University Chicago in 2021. Amrita loves board and card games. She always has a game of Catan running!
Joyce Gong
Joyce Gong is a research technician in Dr. Lavine’s lab. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Bates College in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys caring for her plants and shrimp.
Colin Lemire
Colin Lemire is an MD/PhD student at Northwestern currently completing his graduate research in the lab. He received his BS in 2020 from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Outside of research and medicine, Colin enjoys running on the lakefront and exploring the restaurant scene in Chicago.
Andrea Sara Cuamatzi Castelan
Andrea is a rising M4 at Rush Medical College, currently doing research at the Lavine’s lab. She received her BS from the University of Michigan in Biopsychology and Neuroscience. Outside of the lab you can find her hanging out with friends, cooking with her husband, going on walks around Chicago, or reading the latest novel.
Ritvik Viniak
Ritvik is an undergraduate student doing research in Dr. Lavine’s lab. He’s double majoring in Biology and Global Health with an expected graduation of 2027. In his free time, he enjoys running along the lakefront, reading sci-fi and mystery novels, and watching movies.
Andrew Wang
Andrew Wang is an undergraduate student researching in Dr. Lavine’s lab. He is majoring in the Biological Sciences and Economics at Northwestern University. When not in the lab, Andrew can be found bouldering at a local climbing gym.
