Lindsay wins at IJAS Science Fair
Lindsay Pietz has won the Cellular and Molecular Biology category at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) Competition based on her work in the Tyo lab. As one of the top 5 finalists from a group of 300, she will compete in the international science fair competiton, Intel ISEF.

Keith will be giving a talk on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Firehouse Grill. Keith’s talk “Baker’s Yeast, Biotechnology, and Botswana” will discuss how emerging healthcare technologies will significantly reduced costs. This promises big impacts in low-income countries as well as here in the United States.
