I am a scholar of transnational Korean studies and Asian American studies. My research examines multiple forms of im/mobilizations in the transpacific. I focus on the Korean peninsula’s relations to other militarized sites across the Pacific and the speculative imaginations that dream otherwise. Building on decolonial thought, my scholarship seeks to contribute to epistemic decolonization and the many efforts to unsettle coloniality.

You can find my publications under Jeong Eun Annabel We. I go by both first names, Jeong Eun and Annabel, and I use the gender pronouns she/they.
