What is German Career Week?
German Career Week will take place at Northwestern and is intended for both undergraduate and graduate students. |
Topics will include summer internships in Germany in ANY FIELD, postgraduate scholarships and internships in STEM and economics, and scholarships for summer and postgraduate programs. We have invited a number of student alumni to these panels, who have direct experience with these and other programs. |
On Friday afternoon (Nov 15), come to the panel of representatives from various German corporations in the Midwest, who will discuss possilble summer internships that can lead to future jobs! |
Keynote on Friday, Nov 15
Don’t miss out on our Keynote speaker, Mark Tomkins, Northwestern alumnus and current President and CEO of the German-American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) of the Midwest. Mr. Tomkins will discuss the the new opportunities for young professionals who wish to enter the workforce in Germany, what GACC does to help bring German companies to the US, and how much knowing the German language can help getting you a job.
