The Gate lab at Northwestern University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to neurogenomics research in a highly collaborative environment. Our lab is focused on the intersection of the immune system and neurodegeneration, including Alzheimer’s, ALS and Parkinson’s diseases. We utilize sophisticated, state-of-the-art genomics approaches to interrogate the role of the immune system in these brain disorders. In this position, you will learn how to generate and analyze single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics datasets. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant, sophisticated neuroscience research lab at a top academic university.
Clinical Research Coordinator at Northwestern University in downtown Chicago
The Gate lab and Abrams Research Center on Neurogenomics seeks a clinical research coordinator to interface with patients with and without neurodegenerative disease. This coordinator would manage daily operations of a biomedical research study involving multidisciplinary teams of physicians and researchers. The coordinator would recruit patients to the study, consent them to participate in the study and conduct blood draws. Certification in phlebotomy is required.
