Goals of the Lab
The Gate lab is focused on the intersection of the immune system and neurodegenerative disease. Dr. Gate’s laboratory employs multi-omics strategies to interpret immune system changes related to neurodegeneration. His group is particularly interested in the interplay between T cells and neurogenerative disease antigens. Their goal is to identify novel biomarkers or immunotherapeutic targets for neurodegeneration.
