Biography

David J. Eckman is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Industrial Engineering & Management Sciences at Northwestern University, working under the supervision of Professors Matthew Plumlee and Barry Nelson. In August 2021, he will be joining the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University as an Assistant Professor. He received a Ph.D. in Operations Research in 2019 from Cornell University, where he was advised by Professor Shane Henderson, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh.
