Hummus
This dish is very popular in Israel and other countries of the Middle East.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of Tahini (I use Hachva brand)
- 1 can of Garbanzo beans (15.25 OZ, ideally Del Monte or Goya)
- 3 or 4 fresh Garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of Lemon juice
- Paprika and parsley for garnish
Tools
- 1 cup
- 1 blender or food processor
- 1 small bowl (for serving)
- 1 can opener
- 1 small wooden spoon
- 1 medium/big soup plate or bowl milk
Steps to Prepare the Dish
- Open the container of Tahina, take the wooden spoon and stir well the tahini until becomes soft.
- Pour one cup of the tahini in the food processor.
- Add the garlic cloves
- Add the whole garbanzo beans can with its liquid
- Turn on the food processor until you see that the mix becomes light beige.
- Pour the mix in a medium soup plate
- Garnish with paprika and parsley (See the image above)

Substitutions
I use the whole can of garbanzos, but you can keep some to garnish your dish.
