Tabbouleh Salad
This salad is very healthy and easy to prepare. I learned it from my grandmother.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Bulgur # 2 (I use Sadaf brand) (20 oz. package)
- 1 cup of warm Water
- 4-5 Roma tomatoes
- 2-3 Cucumbers
- 1/2 white Onion
- 3 cups of parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of Olive oil
- 2 tablespoon of Lemon juice
- 2 pinches of Salt
Tools
- 1 Pyrex bowl
- 1 Medium plastic bowl
- 1 Peeler
- 1 Knife
- 1 Small strainer
- 1 Small wooden spoon
Steps to Prepare
- Put the bulgur in the strainer.
- Rinse it under running water several times.
- Put it in the plastic bowl and soak it for 20 to 30 minutes.
- While the bulgur soaks, dice the tomatoes, cucumber and onion into small pieces.
- Place the tomatoes, cucumber, and the onion in the Pyrex bowl.
- Stir them with the wooden spoon.
- Add the chopped parsley, olive oil and lemon juice and stir well.
- After half an hour, drain the bulgur.
- Add the bulgur to the veggie mixture.
- Toss all the ingredients and cover the salad.
- Place it in the refrigerator
Notes
Feel free to:
- add two or three small Peppermint leaves, chopped.
