Banana Cake
I love banana, but I never thought there is a banana cake until I came to the States. There are some variations how to prepare the cake, I just do the easy version, since I do not know how to bake, except when I use a “cake mix package”.

Ingredients
- 1 Cake mix yellow (ideally Betty Crocker/Duncan Hines)
- 1 cup of Water
- 1/2 cup of Oil (ideally vegetable)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of Bananas, ripe and mashed
- 1 drop of Vanilla´s extract
- 1/2 cup of Raisins
- 1/4 cup of Walnut, mashed
- 1/2 cup of Yogurt plain
- PAM oil
Tools
- 1 large plastic mixing bowl
- 1 beater
- 1 spatula
- 1 measuring cup
- 10 X 8 aluminum tray
- 1 toothpick
Steps to prepare
- Pre-heat the oven at 350°F
- Prepare the yellow cake by following the instruction of the box, mix the ingredients with the beater on a medium speed.
- Add the mashed banana, keep beating it with the rest of the ingredients.
- Add the raisins, walnut and the vanilla
- After everything is combine, pour the mix into the greased or oil aluminum tray.
- Bake for 30 minutes, at 350°F
- Insert a toothpick in the middle of the cake, if it comes out clean, it means that the cake is bake, otherwise, leave it for few more minutes.
- Take the cake out of the oven, and let it cool for around 10-15 minutes.
- Place the cake in a serving plate
- When the cake is completely cool, cut it.
Notes
- You can avoid the walnuts, you can add chocolate chips instead.
- You can substitute the raisins with craisins.
