Dr. Justin M. Hoffman led a collaboration between our group and the Kanatzidis Group and published this work in Chem, titled “Film formation mechanisms in mixed-dimensional 2D/3D halide perovskite films revealed by in situ grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering.” They use grazing-incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) during spin coating, using synchrotron radiation to propose several detailed mechanisms that occur in 2D/3D mixed-dimensional perovskite film formation.
