On behalf of the Counseling Program faculty, I’d like to personally welcome you to the 9th Annual Counseling Capstone Project Conference (CCPC)! This conference was conceived to be a professional opportunity for our soon-to-be graduates to showcase their growing expertise in an area of interest, while also sharing with our community of scholars their contribution to the area in the form of new work or ideas. Although the unfortunate circumstances of the COVID pandemic required that we held our conference online for the past few years, we are thrilled by the silver lining of these circumstances – accessibility to our conference for friends and family from around the U.S. and the globe.
We’d like to give you an idea of what you can expect during this event. The CCPC is structured similarly to other professional conferences. We will have four online presentation galleries with 80-minute sessions occurring concurrently (2 presenters per room per session) which you can navigate through using this website, particularly our Schedule-at-a-Glance. We anticipate that you will attend a multitude of presentations that demonstrate a thoughtful, contemporary response to the ever-changing landscape of mental health. We are inspired by the clinical and scholarly contributions from this next generation of Clinical Mental Health Counselors.
Out of respect for our presenters, we ask that you do not enter or leave a session outside of the designated break times. During scheduled breaks, feel free to turn off your electronic equipment and take a rest from our online venue.
Finally, we’d like to thank you for attending the Counseling Capstone Project Conference. Whether you are a student, supervisor, RPS leader, adjunct faculty, case conference leader, administrator, support staff, family, or friend, we could not accomplish what we do without your dedication and support. Enjoy the conference!
