Published beginning in 1880, The Wheel World: A Bicycling and Tricyling Monthly Magazine of Sport documented life in the bicycle clubs of England and Scotland. With articles and illustrations that included caricatures of prominent cyclists on their machines, humorous comics and poems, and news from the clubs, the magazine gave a lighthearted and often humorous look into the bike racing culture of the 1880s.
