Mission Statment
We are the NU-Q community for students from Africa, connected to Africa, or interested in matters concerning Africa. Anyone who is intrigued by lively debates, art shows, cultural shows, music, and African cuisine will find a welcoming home at NUQASA. We are dedicated to building a community, promoting collaboration amongst African students at NU-Q, encouraging awareness of Africa within the NU-Q community and the greater Education City, and ultimately contributing back to our continent.
Goals
- Facilitate the integration of new African students into NUQ and EC community.
- Diversify African narratives.
- Promote a greater understanding of African traditions
- Foster unity amongst students regardless of their racial, ethnical, or religious orientation.
- Work closely with other organizations, staff, and faculty to promote scholarship, fellowship, and service through diversity and internationalism.
