Our Mission
The Yee Lab is dedicated to advancing the health of pregnant individuals, with particular attention to populations that face increased health challenges. Our work is informed by an understanding of the complex factors that shape health outcomes and access to care. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, we study a range of cross-cutting health domains and topics, including:
- Patient navigation
- Diabetes during pregnancy
- Perinatal HIV and other infectious diseases
- Obstetric health services and quality improvement
- Social determinants of obstetric health
- Postpartum health
- Cardiovascular and metabolic health after pregnancy
