Multiscale and multiphysics modeling and simulation methods are nowadays essential for analyzing complex engineering problems, where traditional simulation methods such as FEA are pushed to their limits. The symposium aims to highlight research interests of multiscale and multiphysics modeling and simulation methods, their key benefit and limitations in manufacturing including the emerging additive manufacturing.
