Natural fluid flows and its apalications in  environment, energy, water conservancy, disasters and civil engineering, etc., including open channel hydraulics, sediment transport, stratified flow phenomena, debris flow, soil erosion process, wind-blown sand movement, transport and mixing processes, and various issues in water quality and atmospheric environment modeling, etc. These topics are studied in a variety of ways, such as by theoretical analyses, physical model experiments, field studies, and numerical modeling.
