Welcome

Welcome to my site at Northwestern University.

Fun fact: I am a data scientist in Boston now! Check out my non-academic page on Github.

Previously, I held a postdoc position at Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) at Northwestern University. I got my PhD from the University of California, San Diego in 2013 and was working as a postdoc at Academia Sinica Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics in Taipei, Taiwan.

My research focuses in spiral density waves in ALL kinds of astrophysical disks, including spiral galaxies and protoplanetary disks. As a theorist, I use both pen/paper and numerical simulations to study things. Feel free to check out my CV here.

Although I am not doing research full time, please feel free to shoot me emails for any research question related to spiral density wave theories (e.g., Lin-Shu theory) and anything you want to know more in my papers.
