Haley Yaple, an alum of ESAM and current professor at Carthage College, joined us for dinner at Northwestern to tell us about her job search experience and her day-to-day life at Carthage College. It was a treat to hear about her teaching responsibilities as well as her involvement with undergraduate research projects. She compiled some great job hunt advice – please see below!
All ESAM women met with Mary Silber to discuss what we wanted WESAM to be about: what meetings would look like, how frequent they would be, and what activities we would do as a group. We decided we would have three pillars: community, outreach and professional development.
