Alex wakes up from her sleep after hearing sounds and feeling a presence while on an adventure to discover the forest of Aokigahara in Japan also called the forest of suicide. She leaves her tent driven by her curiosity about the sounds not knowing that the forest’s spirits invite death through visions of a disturbing parallel world.
