This artwork is a graphical representation of a person’s agreement to allow one of the elemental forces of nature – time – to mold them into the person they were meant to be. This does happen behind bars. As sand passes through the hourglass miniscule, it gets molded into something (someone) amazing, unique, and profoundly human.
