Ji Eun Jennifer Park

I am a second year Chemistry student in the Van Duyne group. I am from Seoul, Korea. I received my B. S. in Chemistry at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2014. As an undergraduate in Professor Murphy’s lab, I worked on polymeric gold nanoparticle synthesis for drug delivery system and phase transfer of gold nanoparticles with different sizes and capping agents from water to organic solvents. My current research interest in the Van Duyne group is glucose sensing with SERS. My hobbies are playing squash and table tennis, cooking, listening to music, dancing, and watching movies.
