Will Fowler is a sophomore who is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Trombone Performance at Northwestern University. Will is originally from Potomac, Maryland, where he studied with Ken Wolff. Throughout high school, Will played in Ken Wolff’s Mid Atlantic Trombone Choir as well as other chamber groups sponsored by the Wolff Pack. In the orchestral realm, Will has had the privilege of being part of both the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras and the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras programs. During his summers, he has been a part of the Interlochen World Youth Wind Symphony, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s Young Artists Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America. Currently, Will studies with Michael Mulcahy, Randall Hawes, Timothy Higgins, Douglas Wright, and Christopher P. Davis. Will has also had the privilege of performing in master classes for Don Lucas, Nathan Zgonc, Peter Sullivan, James Markey, Weston Sprott, Ralph Sauer, Toby Oft, Megumi Kanda, Nitzan Haroz, and Stephen Lange. Outside of music Will likes to mountain bike, travel, and hike.
