Noah Eder

Noah is a first-year graduate student studying trombone performance. Noah grew up in Prescott, Arizona, and started playing the trombone at age 11. Noah met his first private teacher, Dr. Peter Mueller, and continued lessons until he graduated from high school. Noah earned his Bachelor of Music from Arizona State University, where he studied with Dr. Brad Edwards. While at Arizona State University, Noah performed with the ASU Wind Ensemble, ASU Symphony Orchestra, ASU Concert Jazz Band, ASU Musical Theater and Opera, and the ASU Trombone Choir. Noah enjoys playing many different genres of music. During his time in Phoenix, Noah worked with several concert bands, orchestras, jazz ensembles, and theater companies. Noah has had the opportunity to perform and participate in masterclasses led by Achilles Liarmakopoulos, Brian Hecht, Denson Paul Pollard, Doug Yeo, George Curran, James Miller, Jeremy Wilson, Dr. Natalie Mannix, Peter Steiner, Timothy Higgins, and Wycliffe Gordon. Noah is excited to continue his education at Northwestern University and is eager to explore all that Chicagoland has to offer. Outside of music, Noah likes to watch sports, hang out with friends, and explore new restaurants
