Christopher Sollenberger BME/ISP 

I am a fourth-year student (Class of 2023) in McCormick with majors in Integrated Science Program (ISP) and Biomedical Engineering. I am also graduating with my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering. I am a premedical student. I am from the suburbs of Akron, Ohio (home of LeBron James and Goodyear) which is a city just south of Cleveland. At Northwestern I have been involved in many things. Past activities have included club sports and robotics. Now, I spend most of my time doing research, volunteering, and working as an EMT.  In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, working out, watching TV, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.

Jun Yamasaki MechE + Applied Math

I am a senior in the McCormick School of Engineering double majoring in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace Engineering concentration) and Applied Mathematics, and attempting a minor in music. I’m originally from Japan, where I was born and did my middle school and high school, but I grew up in Boca Raton, Florida (+ 1 year in Palo Alto, California). I’m currently conducting research related to the dimensionality reduction of biofluid mechanics data, and more broadly, fluid mechanics-informed neural networks. When I’m not stressing over PhD applications, I like to play piano and alto sax, play tennis, and travel.

Treasurer  & Executive Secretary

I am a Post Baccalaureate research fellow who graduated from Northwestern with a major of Computer Science in 2022. Currently, I am focusing on Programming Languages research where I try to use formal methods and higher order techniques to improve the reliability and efficiency of software engineering and microprocessor designs. I grew up in China and Australia, and outside of work, I am a HUGE Star Trek fan and am interested in Sci Fi.
